What Is Burrakatha About?

A science fiction comedy family drama, Burrakatha comes up with an intriguing and different point, of not exactly new. It is about a
guy who seems to have two independent brains (minds) within one person, and how this unique problem affects his life. Aadhi Saikumar plays the role whose Burrakatha we are going to watch. Though something minutely reminds us of the recent thriller Savyasachi (like an independently acting left hand), this film sounds more like a family entertainer with a bit of everything.

This rare medical phenomenon is observed in a few cases. There are certain induced cases for medical research purpose. But as this is a movie and has to add dramatic value, we may not get a complete picture but the concept has a lot of potential to be exploited for big screen. Senior actor Rajendra Prasad plays a crucial role as the protagonist’s father in this film which is a directorial debut for popular writer Diamond Ratnababu. Posani will essay the role of a psychiatrist.

Burrakatha Promises

An intriguing Hero 2 Vs Hero 1 in the Hero

Two brains. One man. One creates a youngster with a not so desirable qualities and the other with a goody-two-shoes nature. A very intriguing premise which not only gives the lead actor an excellent chance to show variations on the screen. Also, like Aadhi revealed, for the most part of the film we wouldn’t be shown that it is the same person who has two brains that drive the entire plot. Adding to this problem are the outside troubles the hero has to fight it off for his family to keep them off trouble.

Aadhi Saikumar’s comeback efforts

Aadhi Saikumar proved himself to be a capable lead actor with his debut film and a couple of others. But another big success eluded him since. Still with a different concept and an apparently author backed role, he has now the chance to shine at the box office. The variations he has shown in the role that are glimpsed in the trailer and promo material offers a promise both for his success and to the audience.

Diamond Ratnababu and his team

Diamond Ratnababu’s 2018 work Gayatri starring senior hero Mohan Babu has an intriguing subject. And his other films like Luck Unnodu have shown his potential for coming up with interesting concepts. Known for comedy capers in his early career, he is now coming up with a sci-fi comedy. Sai Kartheek composes the musical score. C. Ram Prasad handles the cinematography for this film which has Mishti Chakraborty and Naira Shah play the female leads. Abhimanyu Singh also plays the antagonist.
