Bishorjon

Directed by Kaushik Ganguly, 'Bishorjon' is a cross-border love story that bloomed between Nasir and Padma, in a village near India and Bangladesh border. It's a heartwarming story of a Muslim boy from India and a Hindu widow from Bangladesh whose destiny brought them together. The story stars when Padma finds an unconscious Nasir at the bank of the river and gave him shelter on knowing he is from India. The film stars Abir Chatterjee and Jaya Ahsan as the leads. Filmmaker Kaushik Ganguly also plays a pivotal role in this venture. The movie that released on Poila Boisakh i.e. on 14th April, bagged National Award for the best Bengali film before its release.
