Cast: Mahesh Babu as Bharat Ram, Kiara Advani as Vasumathi, Prakash Raj as Varadarajulu/Nanaji and  R. Sarathkumar as Raghava Rao.

Bharat (Mahesh Babu) is the son of Raghava Rao (Sarath Kumar), a young politician who strives to form his own political party and serve the needy along with his friend Varadarajulu (Prakash Raj). After his mother's demise, Bharat moves to Europe for higher studies. After 20 years he returns to India because of his father's demise and under few circumstances, he becomes the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Bharat chooses a rather different path to form a better society and he doesn't mind being harsh on the public who don't follow the rules. After a certain point of time, the public start to like Bharat and his honest attempts while opposition party members and his own party members try to stop him.

Bharat overcomes all the hurdles on the way but the villains involve his girlfriend Vasumathi (Kiara Advani). The media too show their relationship in a bad light and Bharat resigns as an ethical responsibility. He takes on the villains but finds a harsh truth about his father's death in the process.
