Bengali movie Bhalobashar Bari starring Rituparna Sengupta, Silajit, Srila Majumdar, and Pratik Sen is all about timeless values. Directed by Tarun Majumdar, it has an old-school feel in its story and treatment. The music keeping a balance with the theme and plot, the audio album contains six songs written by Rabindranath Tagore. The evergreen songs have been rendered by Santanu Basu to lyrics written by Rabindranath Tagore. The songs feature the voices of noted Rabindra Sangeet artist Jayati Chakraborty, Rajini Mukhopadhyay, and Dipanwita Choudhury. 

Phagun Haoyay Haoyay is a cheerful track reflects the lively nature of the springtime. It is sung by Jayati Chakraborty and Dipanwita Choudhury. Amar Angey Angey Ke Bajay Banshi is a timeless romantic song sung by Jayati Chakraborty. Nupur Beje Jaye Rini Rini is a sweet song while  Mor Hridayer Gopone is an intense song. Ogo Nadi Aapan Bege is a lovely song addressing the river and its nature.
