Basu Paribar

Basu Paribar is a Bengali family drama that revolves around an elderly couple who are celebrating their 50th marriage anniversary. With this film, Soumitra Chatterjee and Aparna Sen, the much-loved on-screen jodi of the golden era will make a come back together after a long time. They play a retired barrister and his educated and elegant wife who have invited their extended family on their special day.

Rituparna Sengupta and Jisshu Sengupta play their children in this venture. both returned home to spend time with their family. Kaushik Sen and Saswata Chatterjee are roped in to play the cousin of Jisshu and Rituparna. Sudipta Chakraborty plays Kaushik Sen's wife, an ordinary woman in an otherwise elite household. Paran Bandyopadhyay and Lily Chakraborty essay key characters in this cinema. It's an emotional family drama penned by director Suman Ghosh.
