Baadshaho Review & Rating|
'Baadshaho' is a film directed by Milan Luthria and stars Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D'Cruz, Vidyut Jamwal, Esha Gupta and Sanjay Mishra in the lead roles. The film is set in the emergency era of 1975-77 and follows the story of a queen's gold that the government raids.
The lead actors do not do their best job here as Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi and Vidyut Jamwal lack expressions on their face and the female leads, Ileana and Esha Gupta are in the film just to add glamour. Sanjay Mishra is the best of the lot and this film isn't even his finest performance.
Director Milan Luthria, with the help of Sunita Radia's cinematography manages to capture the vast dessert in shots that will stay in your mind after you're done watching the film. The music of the film is already a hit and the song 'Mere Rashke Qamar' brings back the magical voice of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Verdict: This film is a completely over the top action drama that requires you to stop thinking during the movie. The performances are weak but the camera work is brilliant. If you are looking for some smart cinema, then this movie isn't for you but if you enjoy filmy drama, it's worth a watch!
