Android Kunjappan,Version 5.25 is directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval and will be produced by Santhosh T Kuruvilla under the banner Moonshot Entertainment Pvt Ltd. The cinematography will be handled by Sanu John Varughese who was also the cameraman for hits like Karthik calling Karthik, Wasir and Viswaroopam series. The film stars Soubin Shahirin the lead role.

Soubin Shahir plays a Mechanical Engineer and Suraj Venjaramoodu plays his dad. The film is a family drama with small elements of sciece fiction. The village-set drama explores the dad-son bond and how the entry of a robot impacts the family.
