Action is the third collaboration for director Sundar C and actor Vishal after Aambala and Madha Gaja Raja which is yet to hit the big screens. The film is a romantic action entertainer which also stars Tamannaah and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the female leads. Kabir Duhan Singh is playing the baddie in this film which also has Yogi Babu playing a key role. National award-winning stunt choreographer Anbariv is composing fights for this film which is produced by Trident Arts banner.

Bollywood cinematographer Dudley who is known for his films like Dilwale and Jagga Jasoos is cranking the camera for this film while Hiphop Tamizha is composing the music. Srikanth NB is the editor for this film.
