Ranbir Kapoor, the fourth generation of highly prestigious ‘Kapoor’ family, is a popular Indian actor. Ranbir Kapoor Early Life
Ranbir developed an interest in acting in movies at an early age and he first worked as an assistant director after completing his 10th standard examination, in the film Aa Ab Laut Chalen. Ranbir completed his pre-university education from the H.R. College of Commerce and Economics and moved to New York City to learn film-making at the School of Visual Arts. He also pursued method acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. After returning back to India, Ranbir worked as an assistant director under the renowned director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the film Black (2005).

Ranbir was born to Bollywood actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. Ranbir is the grandson of actor-director Raj Kapoor and great-grandson of Prithviraj Kapoor. Ranbir has an elder sister Riddhima Kapoor who is an interior and fashion designer. Bollywood actresses Karishma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan are first cousins of Ranbir. Ranbir started his acting career in 20017 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's movie Saawariya, along with Sonam Kapoor and Rani Mukerji, and Salman Khan. The movie was a box office disaster but it won Ranbir Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. His next film Bachna Ae Haseeno was commercially successful and garnered him much needed fame followed by hit movies like Wake Up Sid, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Raajneeti, and Rockstar.
