Ram is a Telugu actor who started his career in 2006 with 'Devadasu'. His debut performance was well-received & since then there was no looking back for him. Post-debut, Ram acted in numerous films. Due to his high-spirited performances, his fans crowned him as 'Energetic Star'. Eminent producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is his uncle & has often cast Ram as the lead actor in his recent productions.

Initial Stages:

In 2003, a 17-year old Ram debuted in the romantic entertainer 'Devadasu'. The film went onto become a blockbuster. The actor's performance was met with positive reviews & it earned him his first Nandi award in the best South India male debut category. The film was later remade in Bengali as ‘Paglu’.

In 2008, he acted in Srinu Vaitla directorial 'Ready'. The film was a smash hit & set off a new trend in films wherein the hero, after impressing the lead actress, tries to impress her on-screen family members. His performance in the film earned him a Filmfare award nomination in best Telugu actor category. The film was remade in three languages: Kannada, Tamil & Hindi. All of the three of the remakes, which are 'Raam' in Kannada, 'Uthama Puthiran' in Tamil and 'Ready' in Hindi, were extremely successful.

In 2009, Ram acted in the commercially successful 'Maska'. The film set the cash registers ringing & had the biggest opening day collections in Ram's career. The film was remade in respectively Bengali & Bangladesh as 'Onnorokom Bhalabasho' & 'Hero 420'. A year later, Ram acted in the family entertainer 'Rama Rama Krishna Krishna' which performed well at the box office. In 2011, Ram scored another Filmfare award nomination with his performance in the blockbuster 'Kandireega'. The film was remade in Bengali & Hindi respectively as ‘Paglu 2’ & ‘Main Tera Hero’.

After experimenting with various lead roles, Ram scored another hit with the 2015 flick 'Pandaga Chesko'. In 2016, Ram's fame rose to new levels with 'Nenu Sailaja' for his performance. What's more is that, ‘Nenu Sailaja’ was 2016's first super hit movie. Riding high on ‘Nenu Sailaja's success, Ram bagged lead roles in quite a few big-budgeted films which are bound to release in the near future.

Personal

Ram comes from a nuclear family which resides in Hyderabad, Telangana. He is the son of Murali Mohan P. He was schooled at Chettinad, Tamil Nadu. Later, he spent his teenage at Kompally, Hyderabad. After becoming successful as a hero, he relocated elsewhere in Hyderabad. With his own earnings, Ram bought a spacious Porsche Cayenne SUV which went onto replace Chevrolet Optra, his first car.
