Introduction

Rahul Sipligunj is a Telugu songwriter, singer and music composer who rose to fame with independent music videos. Songs like 'Mangamma', 'Poor Boy', 'Makkikirkiri' and 'Galli Ka Ganesh' amongst others have given him unprecedented fame and paved a path to enter into film industry. He began his career as a playback singer with Naga Chaitanya's debut film 'Josh'. Since then, he has sung several chartbusters in Telugu movies along with other private songs.

    Born and brought up in Dhoolpet, Hyderabad, Rahul Sipligunj rose to fame by making independent music videos in Telugu. His first music video ‘Magajathi’ for which he collaborated with his friend Pruthvi became a big hit among the Telugu youth. Its colloquial lyrics and catchy tune made it reach several people rights after its release. Since then, the singer-composer has taken the independent music in Telugu to an entirely new level by releasing one song after another which include ‘Galli Ka Ganesh’, ‘Poor Boy’, ‘Doorame’ and ‘Makkikirkiri’. Along with upbeat ‘teenmaar’ kind of music numbers, he composed melodies, heart wrenching break up songs which are easily relatable.

    While his independent music is journeying successfully, the singer got an opportunity to sing ‘Collegi Bulloda’ song for Naga Chaitanya’s debut film ‘Josh’. Impressed by his energetic voice, music director MM Keeravani offered him to sing the title song ‘My Name Is Nani’ for the SS Rajamouli’s film ‘Eega’. Following this two blockbuster hit songs, Rahul was flooded with offers in Tollywood. Some of the popular movie sons sung by Rahul Sipligunj include ‘Bombhaat’ from ‘LIE’, ‘Inky Pinky Ponky’ from ‘Sudigadu’, ‘Chutta Beedi’ from ‘Loafer’ and ‘One & Only Lion’ from Balakrishna’s ‘Lion’ amongst others.

    Post the success of his Bombhaat song from LIE he received numerous offers from Tollywood's top music directors like Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman. He has sung the title song of Ram Charan's Rangasthalam which went on to become one of the biggest chartbusters of 2018. His Pedda Puli song for Thaman musical, Chal Mohan Ranga impressed the masses. With back to back superhit Telugu songs, Rahul Sipligunj has emerged as one of the most dependable young singers of Telugu cinema.
