Nikhil Early Life
Nikhil Siddhartha was born in Hyderabad to Shyam Siddhartha and Veena Siddhartha on 1 June 1985. He completed his schooling in Hyderabad Public School and graduated from Muffakham Jah College of Engineering & Technology. Being born and brought up in Begumpet, Hyderabad, Nikhil adopted the Begumpet Boy title as his alias. He decided to become an actor after seeing Mega Star Chiranjeevi in Gang Leader. He was just a kid in the first grade when he formed that crucial decision. He then underwent training in choreography and became a good dancer. He is so passionate about dancing that he dances whenever time permits. Soon after completing the studies, he decided to pursue his ambition to become an actor.
Nikhil Early Career
In his initial days, he faced some difficulties to land a good role. He first appeared on the silver screen when he did an uncredited cameo in Sambaram. He then worked as an assistant director for the film Hyderabad Nawabs. After his guest appearance in Hyderabad Nawabs, Nikhil bagged the chance of portraying a spoilt brat in Sekhar Kammula Happy Days. The film became a blockbuster and Nikhil got recognition for his role. He went on to etch a name for himself in Telugu Cinema.
Nikhil later acted in Ankit, Pallavi & Friends which received a lukewarm reception upon its release. His performance earned him good reviews from the critics though. His next film Yuvatha, which was released in 2008, was successful. It earned praises from the critics and set the cash registers ringing at the box offices. He then starred in Veedu Theda which was directed by a debutante, Chinni Krishna. Nikhil was so impressed by Chinni Krishna's direction that he titled Krishna as V. V. Vinayak Junior.
More Success and Fame
In 2013, Nikhil took his career to new heights after acting in the runaway hit Swamy Ra Ra. He scored hat-trick hits with his next two flicks Karthikeya in 2014 and Surya vs Surya in 2015. It is worth mentioning that both Swamy Ra Ra and Karthikeya were directed by debutantes. Sudheer Varma, who directed Swamy Ra Ra, and Chandoo Mondeti, who helmed Karthikeya, are his best friends. To help them out, Nikhil agreed to be the lead actor of their respective debut films. Fortunately, the films were loved by the audience and the critics alike.
In In 2016, he scored another big success with Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada. This supernatural romantic thriller gave him applause from both the audience and the critics. in 2017 he acted in action crime thriller Keshava. In 2018 he appeared in a campus romance Kirrak Party, the Telugu remake of Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party.
Nikhil Personal Life and Influence
In his personal life, Nikhil has confessed himself to be a Power Star Pawan Kalyan fan. He became a fan of him after watching Kushi as he could relate himself to Kalyan's on-screen character. Like any other Power Star fan even he likes to watch his favourite star's films on the first day. He jumped Pawan Kalyan's defense when Bollywood personality Kamal R. Khan started badmouthing Pawan for no reason at the time of the release of Sardaar Gabbar Singh.
That apart, he has credited Ravi Teja as one of the people who influenced his life. He loves Ravi Teja starrers Venky and Idiot. In fact, He watches Venky every day to bust his stress. Initially, when he graced the silver screen, he was dubbed as the Next Ravi Teja, but he got rid of that tag by diversifying his on-screen persona. He is a nature lover and has asked people on the social media to plant a tree and take care of it.
