Neha Shetty Biography

Neha Shetty is an Indian model and actress who started her career by debuting in Kannada movie Mungaru Male 2. Neha will be debuting in Tollywood with the Mehbooba opposite Akash Puri. The movie is scheduled to release on 11th May 2018. 

Neha Shetty Early Life

Before stepping into the filmy world, Neha Shetty was a known model in the south. Neha gained much recognition after winning the Miss Mangaluru title in 2014. Neha Shetty later participated in the beauty pageant - Miss South Indian 2015 and was the first runner-up of the contest. Neha does modelling and photo shoots for various regional magazines and brands.

Neha Shetty Career

Neha Shetty made her acting debut in Kannada cinema with the movie Mungaru Male 2 which is the sequel to the romantic blockbuster movie Mungaru Male, released in 2006. The director of the movie Shashank was looking for a new face for the movie and in February 2015, he caught the attention of Neha Shetty in the newspapers saying she won the WTN Miss Mangalore beauty pageant. Neha was then busy with her examination of the pre-university course declined the offer. However, Neha did sign the film later in July 2015. In the movie Mungaru Male 2, Neha was cate opposite Ganesh. Though the movie failed to impress the audience, Neha's fresh face and performance won her many hearts. The character of Nandini played by Neha was critically acclaimed and Neha gained the much-needed recognition in the industry.

Neha Shetty will be next seen debuting in Tollywood film industry with the movie Mehbooba opposite Akash Puri. The movie is directed by Puri Jagannadh and is a love story set in 1971 during India Pakistan war. The movie is all set to release on 11th May 2018.
