Introduction
Neeti Mohan is an Indian playback singer and who works mainly in Bollywood movies in pop, filmi, and classical genre. She was one of the winners of an Indian singing reality show Popstars which aired on Channel V and formed a band named Aasma. Neeti rose to fame after singing Ishq Wala Love for Karan Johar's Student of The Year, which won her RD Burman Award for New Music Talent. She is known for songs like Jiya Re from Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Tune Maari Entriyaan from Gunday, Nainowale Ne from Padmaavat, and Nachle Na from Dil Juunglee.

Neeti Mohan was born in Delhi to Brij Mohan, a government officer and Kusum Mohan a housewife, Neeti Mohan is eldest of the four sisters - Shakti Mohan, Mukti Mohan, Kriti Mohan. Neeti Mohan was passionate about singing and would listen to and practice singing on her Asha Bhosle's songs. Her sister, Shakti Mohan is a well-renowned name in the industry for her incredible dance moves and Mukti Mohan is also an Indian contemporary dancer. All the three sisters have made their name in the industry with their amazing skills and talents.
Neeti Mohan Career
Before stepping in Bollywood playback singing, Neeti Mohan was a part of an Indian band named Aasma. Neeti won the Channel V's singing reality show Popstars and subsequently formed the band Aasma. The original six members of the band including Neeti Mohan were Aamir Ali, Jimmy Felix, Vasudha Sharma, Sangeet Haldipur, and Peyush Dixit. However, because of the indifference, the band split in 2004 and the members embarked on the solo singing career. Neeti git her major breakthrough after recording her first Bollywood movie song Ishq Wala Love. She also is an active member of A.R. Rahman's musical troupe.
Ishq Wala Love - Student Of The Year (2012)
The soulful track Ishq Wala Love from Varun-Alia-Siddharth starrer Student Of The Year won Neeti Mohan RD Burman Awards. This song marked the debut of Neeti Mohan in Bollywood playback singing.
Jiya Re - Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012)
The carefree and free-spirited song Jiya Re from Shahrukh-Katrina-Anushka starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan, shaped Neeti Mohan's career as a playback singer and, she again won Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent.
Tune Maari Entriyaan - Gunday (2014)
Tune Maari Entriyaan from Priyanka-Ranveer-Arjun starrer Gunday was a peppy energy filled song. Neeti Mohan gained much recognition after the release of the song.
Sau Aasmaan - Baar Baar Dekho (2016)
Neeti Gave her melodious voice for the romantic song Sau Aasmaan from Katrina-Siddharth starrer Baar Baar Dekho. The song went viral in no time and has 70+ million views on YouTube.
Nainowale Ne - Padmaavat (2018)
Neeti Mohan sang the beautiful song Nainowale Ne for the much controversial movie Padmaavat and gained a huge appreciation for her voice.
Boond Boond - Hate Story 4 (2018)
Neeti sang the melodious romantic 'Boon Boond' song for Urvashi Rautela starrer Hate Story 4 and her fans loved her mesmerizing voice.
Apart from her singing career, Neeti Mohan appeared as one of the coaches in The Voice India Kids (Season 1) and in the second season of The Voice India. She also appeared on the Music Ka Maha Muqqabal, an Indian singing reality show which aired on Star Plus. Neeti Mohan was part of Shankar's Rockstars which was the winning team led by Shankar Mahadevan.
