Nara Rohith is an Indian actor and producer working in Telugu Film Industry. He established the film production house Aran Media Works. He is the nephew of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and popular Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna. He made his acting debut with the movie Baanam in the direction of Chaitanya Dantuluri. Rohith is known for films like Solo, Prathinidhi, Asura, Jyo Achyutananda etc. On Aran Media Works he presented movies like Appatlo Okadundevadu and Needi Naadi Oke Katha. He gave voiceover for the films Swamy Ra Ra and Okkadu Migiladu.

Nara Rohith was born on 25 July 1985 to Nara Ramamurthy Naidu and Indira in Tirupathi. As a kid, he was a naughty kid. At the same time, he was studious. He used to be obese during his childhood but lost over 25 kgs after he decided to become an actor. Initially, he took training as an actor under Nataraj in Hyderabad.He later went to the New York Film Academy in the USA.

He was 110 kgs at that time, but he did vigorous workouts and shed about 25-30 kg in order to get into films. Nara Rohith made his silver screen debut with the movie Baanam which was directed by Chaitanya Dantuluri. The movie was critically acclaimed and got rave reviews from the viewers. Nara Rohith received a positive response for his subtle yet intense performance.
After a gap of two years, he came up with a family entertainer Solo the movie turned out to be a huge success at the box office. His performance and dialogue delivery were appreciated. Nara Rohith’s first release in 2016 was Tuntari which was a remake of super hit Tamil film, Maan Karate written by A.R. Murugadoss. The movie was directed by Kumar Nagendra who earlier directed Gundello Godari and Joru. His next movie was Savitri in which he paired up with Nanditha Raj. Pavan Sadineni of Prema Ishq Kaadhal fame directed this movie. His next film Raja Cheyyi Vesthe produced by Sai Korrapati saw him acting along with his brother-in-law Taraka Ratna who played antagonist role. The movie received a mixed response from the audience and reviewers.
He later acted in a multi-starer Jyoachutananda with Naga Shaurya in the direction of Srinivas Avasarala. The movie received good reviews and was a good success at the box office. His next release was Shankara in which he paired opposite Regina Cassandra. The movie was postponed multiple times and finally got released in 2016 but got a mediocre response. His next film was Appatlo Okadundevadu in which he played an important role. His close friend and actor Sree Vishnu was the main lead. The movie was a success both critically and commercially.
In 2017 Rohit acted in three movies. Of them, Shyamanthakamani got a positive response. Kathalo Rajakumari and Balakrishnudu are the other movies released in the year. In 2018, he presented the critically acclaimed Needi Naadi Oke Katha with Sree Vishnu in the lead role. His upcoming movies are Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu and Shabdam. He is playing a crucial role in Venkatesh starrer in the direction of Teja.

Nara Rohit did his schooling in Good Shephards School in Ooty and Bharati Vidya Bhavan in Tirupathi. He completed his pre-university in Vignan College in Vadlamudi, Guntur with 95% marks and B.Tech (Bio Technology) in Anna University in Chennai with 7.6 GPA.
