Ishaan Khatter

Ishaan Khattar is an Indian actor who made debut with under the direction of renowned filmmaker Majid Majidi with the movie ‘Beyond the Clouds’. His brother Shahid Kapoor and father Pankaj Kapoor are well-known actors in Bollywood.

Ishaan Khatter Family

Ishaan Khatter is the son of Bollywood actor Rajesh Khattar and actress Neelima Azeem. Neelima Azeem was previously married to Pankaj Kapoor and had another son who is the famous Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. Ishan Khatter and Shahid Kapoor are half brothers and have also acted in a movie together. Ishaan has said that he grew up in a very artistic and culturally rich household and has always worked on developing himself as an artist.

Ishan Khatter Career

Ishan Khatter made his debut as a child actor in brother Shahid Kapoor’s film Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi in the year 2005 which also starred Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Dutt and Amrita Rao in the lead roles. Ishaan then went on to make his acting debut as an adult when he played the lead role in Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s film Beyond The Clouds. Also starring Malavika Mohanan, this film saw Ishaan play the role of a drug dealer and received great critical acclaim.

Ishaan Khatter was also signed to play the male lead in the Dharma Productions film Dhadak, which marked the Bollywood debut of Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor. Dhadak is a remake of the superhit Marathi film Sairat and is directed by Shashank Khaitan, who has directed films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
