Introduction
Adhithya Ramachandran Venkatapathy (Adhi) and R Jeeva are part of the musical duo Hiphop Tamizha. Hailing from Chennai, the duo introduced Tamil hip-hop in India. They made their debut with the hit track 'Club le Mabbu le' in 2011 followed by Hip Hop Tamizhan music album which is credited as the first ever Tamil hip-hop album. Adhi gained more popularity after debuting as hero with the commercial entertainer 'Meesaya Murukku' (2017).

Hiphop Tamizha Adhi Career
Hiphop Adhi ventured into cinema as a singer with the song 'Thapellam Thappe Illa' picturized for the film 'Naan'. He then sang the title track of Sivakarthikeyan's 'Ethir Neechal' in 2013. After singing a few more hit songs for films like 'Kaththi' and 'Vanakkam Chennai', he turned into a composer with 'Aambala' which released in 2015. Some of his other notable works include 'Indru Netru Naalai', 'Thani Orivan', 'Aranmanai 2', and 'Kavan'.
Adhi became more popular among Tamil audience after he debuted as hero with 'Meesaya Murukku' which turned into a big hit among youngsters. Other than playing the lead, he also directed the movie, took care of screenplay, story, and music. The film released in 2017 was produced by Sundar C's Avni Movies.
