Anil Ravipudi Career
After a successful stint as an assistant director, dialogue writer, and scriptwriter, he wrote the script for the ‘Pataas’ (2015) and narrated it to Kalyan Ram. He said that he wrote it on the lines of ‘Singham’ which has a fast-paced narration with Telugu nativity and is about a corrupted cop who changes for the good. He wrote it in such way that it would work as an image makeover for Kalyan Ram. And as he expected the movie did work in the favor of Kalyan Ram giving him a much-needed break in his career. The movie went on to become a super hit and earned Anil critical acclaim. Veteran comedian MS Narayana was also part of the supporting cast and he passed away on the release date of 'Pataas', 23 January, 2015. The movie was remade into Tamil as ' Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva' with Raghava Lawrence and Nikki Galrani in the leads and turned out to be hit in Tamil as well. It was also remade into Kannada as 'Pataaki' starring Ganesh and Ranya Rao.
In 2016, he came with his next, ‘Supreme’ that starred Sai Dharam Tej and Rasshi Khanna in lead roles. The movie hit the bull’s eye at the Box Office and Anil scored another super hit with his second as well. In 2017, he again teamed up with Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations for the second time for ‘Raja The Great’. This movie marked the comeback of Ravi Teja after a brief gap and starred Mehreen Kaur as the female lead. Ravi Teja was seen a visually challenged person in this flick.
