While Tollywood is the first industry to become active and announce back-to-back releases, now it is the turn of Bollywood. Soon after John Abraham's Attack announced to take on Stylish Star's pan-India film Pushpa during Independence week, Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi announced to lock horns with Rebel Star Prabhas' Radhe Shaym on 30th July. It is known that Radhe Shyam is having a direct clash with Varun Tej's boxing drama Ghani.
As Prabhas is a pan-India star and attracts more screens, the makers of Ghani are left in dilemma over the release of their film. But now, with Gangubai Kathiawadi also announcing the same date for release, things might turn in favour of Ghani. Wondering how? Gangubai Kathiawadi is one of the biggest films of Bollywood directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. As the director is well known for churning out lavish films, the openings of his films will also be on a strong note. Although Prabhas is a pan-India star, Radhe Shyam's business might get affected if it clashed with Gangubai Kathiawadi. This can even prompt the makers of Radhe Shyam to rethink their release plan. If this happens, Ghani can escape a clash with Radhe Shyam and have a solo release on the same day.
