This movie was the second time PK was teaming up with his friend and director Trivikram. 3. Jalsa (2008)

The first collaboration of the now so-called close friends In Tollywood, Trivikram and Pawan Kalyan was Jalsa. The slap stick sarcasm and witty quotes by Trivikram enhanced the quality of this movie. After a string of failures, PK bounced back with this one and it was applauded by one and all. 4. Gabbar Singh (2012)

  5. Thammudu (1999)

‘Tholiprema’ was followed by Thammudu and though the story was loosely based on Aamir Khan’s Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, it was again Pawan’s performance as Subbu that made the movie stand out. At those times where heroes were not well built and used dupes in their stunts, there was this lean man, who came out and performed his own stunts. He showed the audience that he can not only tickle bones, but could perform some realistic stunts and thus became a hero in the real sense.

  6. Kushi (2001)

One of the most uber cool characters in the history of Telugu cinema was Sidhu Siddhartha Roy from Kushi. Though the movie was a remake of the Tamil film of the same name, Pawan Kalyan's complete makeover to the lead’s character brought a new feel to the movie. PK was going through a dream run ín his career where he delivered another industry hit in the form of ‘Kushi’. This movie played a key role in bringing an unprecedented following among the young audience.
