Bhaaagamathie is the latest entry in to the arsenal of Anushka Shetty where she singlehandedly carried a movie  to success. This thriller came after the high of Baahbali - The Conclusion, and became another hit movie for Anushka. Her performance got critical acclaim as the IAS officer Chanchala. Anushka’s role which is barely 15 minutes is arguably the most effective in this blockbuster epic which collected more than 650 crores worldwide. This historical fiction helmed by director S.S. This S. S. Rajamouli directorial stars Mass Maharaja in a dual role, while Anushka plays his love interest. Released in 2006, this action entertainer which revolves around a petty thief who takes the place of a sincere police officer killed by dacoits and settles the scores with them. It was a blockbuster and was remade in several languages including Hindi. M.M. Keeravani has composed the music and the song Chinta ta Chita was an instant hit.

Sweety paired up with Gopichand in this 2007 super hit movie which also features Jagapathi Babu and Kota Srinivasa Rao. Jagapathi Babu won both the Nandi and Filmfare awards for the Best Supporting Actor for his role. Anushka’s glamorous performance in the film catapulted her to stardom.

This is Anushka and Gopichand’s second film as the lead after the successful Lakshyam. This smash hit which marks the directorial debut of choreographer Siva is produced by V. Anand Prasad under the banner Bhavya Creations, while Mani Sharma has composed the music. The film has been remade into many Indian languages including Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam and also in Dhallywood, the Bengali-language film industry based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

This fantasy-horror blockbuster is Anushka Shetty’s first movie as the solo lead. Directed by Kodi Ramakrishna and produced by M Shyam Prasad Reddy, this movie holds the record for winning the most number of Nandi Awards across various categories. The phrase Vadala Bommali was an instant hit with the audience. Koti has composed the film’s music, while Anushka won her first Filmfare Award for the Best Actress for her performance in the film.

Young Rebel Star Prabhas is seen in a dual role the lead in this gangster-thriller movie directed by Meher Ramesh. Anushka plays the main heroine in this remake of the 2007 Tamil movie with the same title starring Ajith. Veteran actor and Prabhas’ uncle, Krishnam Raju is seen in a supporting role in the film produced by D. Narendra. Mani Sharma has composed the music for the film, while versatile actress Jayasudha made a guest appearance.

This movie is the dubbed version of the Tamil blockbuster ‘Singham 2’ starring Suriya and Anushka in the lead. Written & directed by Hari, this blockbuster is action movie which revolves around a sincere cop who takes on the dreaded criminal mafia, has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film also has Hansika as the lead actress.

Koratala Siva made his directorial debut with this blockbuster starring Prabhas and Anushka Shetty, produced by Prabhas’ brother Pramod under the banner UV Creations. The music for the film composed by Devi Sri Prasad was also a chartbuster and Bollywood singer Kailash Kher won the FIlmfare Award for his rendition of ‘Pandagala Digivochadu’. Satyaraj and Nadhiya are seen in pivotal roles in this action-drama film which collected more than 45 crores at the box office.
