Suriya's Soorarai Pottru, Indian Short Film Bittu Misses Out Oscars 2021!
In a piece of disappointing news, Suriya's Soorarai Pottru which was selected as India’s official entry to Oscars 2021, has failed to make it to the final nominees' list. Directed by Sudha Kongara, Soorarai Pottru is a biopic on Air Deccan Founder Captain Gopinath.
Karishma Dev Dube's short film Bittu is also out of the Oscars race. The film was shortlisted for the Best Live Action Short Film category along with nine more films, however, it couldn't make it in the final five at the Academy Award nominations.

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has challenged Rhea Chakraborty's bail. The court will hear the case on Thursday. Rhea was arrested and sent to judicial custody by NCB last year for drug-related charges relating to the case of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. She was granted bail on the condition of submitting a Rs 1 lakh bond and not leaving the country without the court's permission.
