Acting is a highly unpredictable profession. Not knowing the whether the role will be well accepted, most heroes go by their instinct or by the track record of the director. Should their choices fail, their stardom takes an unwanted dent and their fan following plummets. But, there are some Telugu actors who were still at the top the game despite suffering a string of flops which could have potentially dented their image. With their immense fan following, such Tollywood stars are immune to the outcome of their films. Here's a list of the strongest superstars who remain unaffected by flops.

  1. Power Star Pawan Kalyan

Hit or Flop, we don't care! He is our god This what a typical Power Star fan would say when quizzed about his star's success rate. After the industry hit Kushi, Pawan Kalyan's status in Tollywood rose to new levels. Post-Kushi, it took more than a decade for Pawan Kalyan to secure super hit. After suffering nine flops, the star made a terrific comeback with Gabbar Singh and the fans were more than delighted. What was interesting was that his huge fan base, that he boasted during Kushi, didn't desert him during the nosedive. Such is the power of Pawan Kalyan that his fan following has given way to a new ideology called Pawanism.

  2. Nata Simha Balakrishna

Like Pawan Kalyan, Balakrishna was at his peaks in the early 2000's. However, due to some bad choices and lousy directions, the actor's talent was wasted in good for nothing films such as Vijayendra Varma and six other films until Simha came around. In 2010, with the action entertainer Simha, the vast Nandamuri fans heaved a sigh of relief for their star's dry run was finally over. Soon, the actor shed the title of Yuva Ratna and right royally adopted the title Nata Simha.

  3. Superstar Krishna

Krishna's fiery performance in Alluri Seetharama Raju boosted his stardom. However, post-Alluri, none of his films fared well as his portrayals weren't as fierce as Seetharama Raju. After adding seven flops in his account in the year 1975, Krishna bounced back with Paadi Pantalu and went ahead with full speed.

  4. Victory Venkatesh

Post-Tulasi, all that Venkatesh tasted were failures. Despite trying his best, six of his solo films bombed until Drushyam. With an intense performance, Venkatesh thrilled one and all. What is interesting is that the film was a super hit despite the flops. That shows that the Venky is still perceived as a big shot who delivers clean entertainers which can be enjoyed by everyone.

  5. Young Rebel Star Prabhas

After the release of Chatrapathi, Prabhas was at his peaks. It appeared that he was continuing the Rebel Star Krishnam Raju's legacy. However, his flop saga started with Pournami and ended with Bujjigadu. Luckily, the hunk's scored only four consecutive flops. But, with Billa, Prabhas rebounded and every Rebel Star fan rejoiced.

  6. Energetic Star Ram

After Kandireega success, fans expected Ram to deliver another blockbuster. However, due to an unoriginal script, Endukante... Premanta! ended up as a disaster. After acting in another three duds, the actor regained the lost ground with Nenu Sailaja which is 2016's first blockbuster. Despite four consecutive duds, the youth had faith in him and that faith kept his career alive. Such is the power of fans.
