This movie which was Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial debut gave Boman instant recognition, Dr. J. Asthana (Boman Irani) who is dead against Munnabhai (Sanjay Dutt) becoming a medical doctor and marrying his daughter Chinki. In this scene Dr. Asthana tries to keep Munna away from his daughter but is trapped in his own net as Munna confesses his love for his daughter.

Boman was paired opposite Farah Khan in this madcap comedy where he plays a 45 year old parsi guy (Farhad) who is on the lookout for a bride as he meets Shirin (Farah Khan). In this scene his friend Saroze guides him on how to impress Farah but things turn upside down making him embarrassed in front of her.
