The reason why everyone of us is interested in cinema is because of limelight and attention that celebrities get. We just love to admire them and are always interested in knowing their whereabouts. But, have you observed one thing? – We only talk about those celebrities who are in the limelight and not the ones who have faded away or disappeared. And, to always stay in that limelight, you’ve got to keep churning out movies. Failing to do so, you might vanish from the spotlight. This is a common aspect when it comes to the glam world and our Telugu film industry is no less. It also has its set of actors who once hogged the limelight, but have now disappeared from our sight completely. Do you remember these actors?

  1. Tarun

We all have seen Tarun since his childhood and he has proved himself with the state and national awards that he grabbed as the Best Child Artist. Ever since he debuted in 2000 with Nuvvekavali, he attracted everyone alike. With a perfect diction he always had, Tarun scaled to good heights in the initial years of his career. But, post Krishna Vamsi’s Sasirekha Parinayam in the year 2009, he reduced his appearance on the silver screen. Except for a movie or two, the once charming actor is now nowhere to be seen.

  4. Venu Thottempudi

Yes, Venu! Where is he? Every Telugu movie audience is aware about Venu’s skills as an actor and he did make his mark. To reasons unknown, after the movie Gopi Gopika Godavari in the year 2009, he chose to move away from the limelight. He made a sparkling cameo appearance in Dammu, but that was barely for a few minutes. It’s surprising to see such an established actor faded out almost completely.

  5. Raja Abel

Raja debuted with O Chinnadana and once Anand happened to him, he seemed one of the most promising guy in the Telugu film industry. He chose decent movies succeeding Anand, but eventually fell out of the race. His last full-fledged film was Inkosari in the year 2010, after which he made cameo appearances in Nuvva Nena and Mr Nookaya. He later took part in campaigning for the YSRCP during the AP elections in 2014.

  6. Rahul

Most of us know him by his screen name – Tyson in Happy Days. He was the favorite among all the four male characters in Happy Days and earned great appreciation for his role. While his counterparts ventured into making it big, he got stuck with barely a film or two in his kitty. VN Aditya’s Rainbow was the only movie we remember him as the lead in which Rajamouli made a special appearance. Guess things just didn’t work out well for him post Happy Days.
