Bollywood actor Sonu Sood is making headlines for his charity work for the Covid-relief in India. Sadly, the actor has often faced unflattering questions and doubts from time to time. His recent Twitter interaction with Ganjam’s District Magistrate was an example of the same. Just as he would do in several cases, Sonu replied to a Netizen that his requirement of an oxygen bed for a Covid patient has been addressed. “Not to worry. The bed has been arranged at Ganjam City Hospital, Berhampur (DCHC),” tweeted Sonu.
Soon, Ganjam’s District Magistrate tweeted “We don’t receive any communication from Sood Foundation or Sonu Sood." He also claimed there is no bed issue in his district. However, this time Sonu came back with the screenshots of the chat evidence. Check out his clarification here,
Sonu who wouldn't usually bother to give clarification to the trolls cleared, "The denial came from a responsible government official. It was therefore something I had to take seriously. I did not want any miscommunication or any misunderstanding with the administration." He further added, "Those who think I am a fraud or a fake are welcome to think so. I am not doing what I am to make a name for myself."
