There needs no special introduction to the sentiments in Telugu Cinema. Not only the makers, but even the fans follow certain sentiments. From the announcement to release, they make a proper plan on what works and what will not. Now, the same is happening with NTR30, the much awaited collaboration of Jr NTR and Koratala Siva after Janata Garage. But it looks like fans are disappointed with the makers' consideration for the female lead.
Recent reports have it that makers are considering Saaho beauty Shraddha Kapoor for the film, as it is being made on a pan-India scale. But this consideration is worrying the fans of Tarak, courtesy the debacle of Saaho in Teluguland.
Before the release of Saaho, there were huge expectations on Shraddha Kapoor's character, but after the release, expectations went into thin air. Not only the audience, but even critics criticized her character. As she failed to impress opposite a big star like Prabhas, Tarak fans are worried that she might be a jinx to NTR30. Some are even demanding makers to rope in other actress instead of Shraddha.
Another thing that needs to be addressed here is makers looking down the local talents. Whenever a film is announced to be made on a pan-India scale, filmmakers look out to import actresses from North, instead of giving the chance to the local actresses. SS Rajamouli's Baahubali although proved that it is not the cast but the story that brings the film a pan-India appeal. It is sad to see that our makers are keen to cast other language beauties, even after seeing the disastrous result of Saaho.
