To establish oneself among the top league of actors, choosing the right scripts that have scope for performance is crucial. Most of the young actors who make waves in the initial days of their career might not have a clear idea of this, and spoil their career with their own hands. Now, young Kannada actress Nabha Natesh who became a sensation after the blockbuster success of iSmart Shankar seems to be making the same mistake.
Nabha was last seen playing the female lead in Ravi Teja's sci-fi drama Disco Raja. Her character does not have any importance in the film and her screen presence is also limited. If we assume that she signed the film seeing the star status of Ravi Teja, it might be her biggest mistake. We agree that her screen presence in iSmart Shankar is also limited, but it is the storyline and the stardom of director Puri that helped the film mint gold at the box-office. But this might not be the case for every film.
Currently, it is reported that Nabha Natesh has greenlighted the remake of Bollywood hit dark-comedy thriller Andhadhun, and she is supposed to step into the shoes of Radhika Apte. As the whole story revolves around the protagonist and Tabu's character, the female lead has not much importance. But, Nabha selecting a role that has no importance during the rising time of her career might not be the right choice for her. We wonder if she signed the film knowingly or unknowingly.
