In all their excitement and perceived opinion expression people often forget that filmmakers better know which actor to be roped in for what role. The recent example is the commentary of fans and a few so-called film critics over the selection of Saif Ali Khan for the role of Ravana (Lankesh in the movie) in the epic Adipurush with Prabhas.
Their gripe is an actor like Saif couldn’t match the charisma of Prabhas. Some even question few unnecessary and unwarranted things. They went on to question why not Rana roped in. Rana is an excellent actor and all but people must understand that even he was an unproven candidate for such high profile epic roles before Baahubali and Bhallaladeva.
Our opinion in this is, selecting Saif is a masterstroke on the part of the makers, especially director Om Raut. He has already worked with Saif in Tanhaji and we know how big an asset Said had turned out to be for that film as Udaybhan. He was cruelty personified. His spine chilling acting alongside the valorous performance of Ajay Devgn made that film an all time blockbuster. So, we say... keep quiet and trust the filmmaker and his choices.
