As the nation grapples with the second wave of the pandemic, film shoots were paused once again. The shooting of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus epic action-drama RRR also hit the roadblock. Recently, Jr NTR tested positive for COVID-19 and is isolating himself at home. Meanwhile, in his first-ever interview about RRR, Jr NTR has shared many interesting aspects about the film.
NTR called working with Rajamouli a long journey. He also called him the perfectionist and a tough taskmaster who sculpts his movies as masterpieces. Tarak also revealed that the film unit never considered the OTT release option for RRR as it is that sort of film which can only be enjoyed on the big screens.
Talking about his prep work for the role, Tarak said that he was put on a hectic training program for about 18 months to achieve the right physical appearance. I was 71 kilos before that for another film, and I had to gain about nine kilos of muscle mass for RRR, said NTR.
Tarak also added that the film is going to leave the audience flabbergasted, and the action sequences are designed in such a way that they make the audience go ‘wow’, and push them off their seats. Talking about his upcoming projects with director Koratala Siva, he is looking forward to teaming up with the director, and they are still working on the script. Tarak also revealed that he will be teaming up with Prashanth Neel after NTR30.
Tarak also shared that he is ready to act in Hollywood if there comes an opportunity. He is also ready to test his luck in digital space, after finishing RRR.
