After relentless release of one film with a buzz after another since the reopening of theatres post-lockdown, Tollywood will witness relative peace tomorrow. There are three releases but none of them carry too much of buzz. That doesn’t mean those are films made by novices. To the contrary. One film boasts a young talented star. Another has top South Indian heroine and is an international production. The third film has a chart buster album and a known face of a hero. Let’s have a look at what’s on offer.

All these three films are underdogs. And if one of them clicks, they’ll have a field day at the box office.

Mosagallu is an international production and stars Manchu Vishnu who is a capable actor who can drive films to success shores with good stories. Despite the fact that he hasn’t tasted success for half a dozen years, he’s making a confident move with this film about one of the biggest scams the world has seen. Shot in both Telugu and English, the film is directed by Hollywood filmmaker Jeffrey Gee Chin known for acclaimed short films.

It is produced by Vishnu Manchu under the banner of AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Vishnu Manchu, Kajal Aggarwal, Sunil Shetty, Ruhi Singh, Navdeep, Naveen Chandra, and Karma McCain. In a parallel world, it would have been a talk of the town.

Aadhi Sai Kumar is one of the notable young lead actors in Telugu who immediately proved his talent. He also had tasted good success early in his career. But wrong movie choices and bad results made him go down the peking order but he’s coming up now with a film that boasts a successful soundtrack. Shashi which stars Surbhi, Raashi Singh, Rajiv Kanakala and Ajay.

Chaavu Kaburu Challaga

He hasn’t lost craze nor does his market depreciated. But the lack of proper buzz is due to the lack of solid hits for him after the iconic RX 100. Yes we’re talking about Chaavu Kaburu Challaga and Kartikeya. Do-starring Lavanya Tripathi, this Koushik Pegallapati directorial is backed by Bunny Vaas and GA2 Pictures. It tells the story of a youngster who loves a young lady who’s a widow. This film, on the surface appears as the film to watch among these underdogs.

We wish all three become profitable ventures for their respective teams.
