Vakeel Saab is a special film for Power Star fans for many reasons. Right from the announcement, Power Star fans are waiting with bated breaths to watch the film on big screens, and finally, it is hitting the silver screens tomorrow. As aforementioned, let's discuss why the film is special and a must-watch.
For The Emotion Called POWER STAR
Do we need any more reason than this? Vakeel Saab marks the comeback film of Pawan Kalyan, who has bid farewell to the film industry in 2018 after tasting a disaster with Agnyaathavaasi. While the name Power Star itself can pull the audience to the screens, the other reason to watch the film is Pawan playing the lawyer for the very first time. Already the posters, teaser, and trailer showed him as a badass lawyer who not only fights for justice in the court but also takes down on goons outside the court.
Vakeel Saab is the remake of the Bollywood hit courtroom drama Pink, and the plot deals with the sexual harassment of three women, and how the protagonist helps them to fight for justice.
In today's reality, despite several speaking out about women's empowerment, there is no safety for women. Every day, we read and hear a lot of news about harassment, molestation, and violence towards women. Vakeel Saab is going to be a voice on all sorts of violence faced by the women in the society and bring a positive change that women is not an object.
Vakeel Saab, although sticks to the original plot, has undergone several changes and the addition of commercial elements to suit the stature of Pawan Kalyan.
SS Thaman's Music
Vakeel Saab has music composed by happening music director SS Thaman, and all the four songs of the film crooned by popular singers have received good response. While the first song Maguva Maguva tells the greatness of women and their role in society and in the family, the second song Satyameva Jayathe elevates the protagonist, the third song Kanti Papa is a lovely melody between Pawan and Shruti Haasan. The final song Kadhulu Kadhulu is an inspirational track that enlightens the spirits of women to fight against the odds and back off like cowards.
The 3 Pivotal Women Of The Film - Nivetha, Anjali & Ananya
The film is more about these three women, who go through sexual harassment and then get framed in a murder case. Nivetha Thomas and Anjali are well-known actresses, who can handle any sort of subject with ease. Ananya although a newcomer has impressed many in her debut film Mallesham. The film also has Shruti Haasan playing a cameo as Pawan's love interest.
Venu Sriram's Direction
Although two films old, Venu Sriram getting a chance to direct Pawan is indeed a jackpot offer to him. Although he is handling a sensitive script, Venu Sriram has also made the masses fulfilled by showing Pawan as a larger-than-life character. Pawan's courtroom dialogues had impressed fans.
Head over to the theatres this weekend and catch Vakeel Saab in action before we get cooped up in homes with yet another lockdown.
