Kollywood woke up with tragic news on Saturday as renowned comedian Vivek who was admitted to hospital after suffering a heart attack, passed away this morning around 5 am. His untimely demise came as a big shocker to the industry.
Shankar's Anniyan Hindi Remake Controversy
On 14th April, legendary filmmaker Shankar announced to remake Anniyan in Bollywood with Ranveer Singh as the lead. But a day after the announcement, Anniyan producer Aascar Ravichandran accused Shankar and claimed his acts as illegal and unethical. Shankar also gave a strong counter to the producer, asking him not to make baseless accusations. He also clarified that the script vests with him, and he is entitled to exploit the same in any manner he deems fit.
Kartik Aaryan Replaced From Dostana 2
Kartik Aaryan has been dropped from Karan Johar's Dostana 2. Kartik has walked out of the project for creative differences after working for 20 days on the movie. Reportedly, Kartik was not happy with the film's second half and thus decided to walk out. However, there are reports regarding a fallout between Kartik and KJO. Earlier, the cold relationship between Kartik and Janhvi came into notice after they stopped following each other on Instagram. Post lockdown, Kartik chose to work in Ram Madhvani's film Dhamaka before Dostana 2. Insiders claimed this had upset KJO and he has decided against working with Kartik.

Salman Khan Took No Money For His Cameo In Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan
Salman Khan has recently shot an extended cameo for YRF's upcoming action thriller Pathan starring Shahrukh Khan in the lead role. In the movie, Salman will appear as Tiger, the character from his superhit franchise marking the beginning of a spy universe. Salman has refused to take any money from Aditya Chopra for the movie. The casting of Mega Star Chiranjeevi's Lucifer remake is currently underway.
