It also co-stars Shraddha Das in an interesting character.Known for his roles in films like Thanu Nenu and Golconda High School, Santhosh Sobhan turned a lead actor with Paper Boy and got good recognition. In the movie Ek Mini Katha, Santosh Shobhan plays the character of Shobhan who gets triggered by the words "big" and "small" due to his insecurities towards his private parts. The character is also shown as a major fan of Johnny Sins. With interesting buzz surrounding it, Ek Mini Katha is now set for a release on 27 May 2021 after the pandemic hit it's chances of a theatrical release. As we have done for the past one year, let's check the profit and loss analysis for this film.Ek Mini Katha is said to be made on a budget of Rs. 4.31 Cr. We cannot estimate how much the distributors would have invested in it but with the backing of UV Creations through its subsidiary UV Concepts, and noted young director Merlapaka Gandhi writing it, it would have received a solid offer. The same has happened for the OTT release too. Streaming giant Amazon Prime has offered a whopping Rs. 9.32 Cr. Apart from this, the movie received a satellite rights deal of Rs 3.86 Cr.Considering incidental costs and music rights and others, the movie has scored a solid profit of Rs. 8 Cr. without considering Hindi dubbing rights. As the dubbing rights depends on either star power or resonating with the craving of the television audience for the subject, the makers are set to score a cool Rs. 10 Cr. in the end. But that's for another day. What about Amazon Prime? For that we should at least wait for 3 weeks from the date of release.
