Akshay Kumar is the only star who stands tall among the ‘Khan’s. Since making his debut back in 1991, Akshay has managed to create a niche for himself over the years. Though he initially had more flops than hits and has given some underrated performances, if one looks back at the last decade or so Akshay Kumar films have demanded a certain initial at the box-office of which most have gone on to enter the 100-Crore club. Akshay Kumar now stands only second to Salman Khan (Eleven 100-Crore movies) with eight '100-Crore movies' to his credit. Here’s a compilation of Akshay Kumar’s 100 Crore club movies list.

  1. Toilet: Ek Prem Katha Collected Rs. 135 Cr at the Box-office

    Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is not just the latest entrant to the ‘Akshay Kumar 100-Crore club movie list’ but also his highest grosser at the box-office to date. TEPK overtook the collections of Rowdy Rathore and stands at Rs. 135 Crores. This social comedy drama based on India’s sanitation problem had Bhumi Pednekar romancing Akshay Kumar. TEPK will go down as one of the better Akshay Kumar blockbuster films for its cause and awareness creation nation-wide.

  2. Rowdy Rathore Collected Rs. 133.25 Cr at the Box-office

    Akshay Kumar’s career’s biggest hit to date was Rowdy Rathore which was recently dethroned by Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Rowdy Rathore was a remake of the Telugu hit Vikramarkudu, this Prabhu Deva directorial was an instant hit from day one as it earned a good Rs. 133.25 Cr from its domestic markets. With Sonakshi Sinha for company and high octane action sequences, the movie became Akshay Kumar’s second 100-Crore box-office hit.

  3. Airlift collected Rs. 128.10 Cr at the Box-office

    Talking about Akshay Kumar’s biggest box-office collections, Airlift too finds itself in the list. The film based on a true story narrated the biggest human evacuation that took place in the Gulf during the Kuwait-Iraq war in 1991. One of Akshay’s more sensible and sensitive blockbusters, Airlift found an instant connection with the audiences earning a decent Rs. 128.10 Crores at the domestic box-office.

  4. Rustom collected Rs. 127.49 Cr at the Box-office

    Akshay Kumar’s Rustom which finds itself in the fourth place was based on the famous Nanavati murder case which took India’s judiciary system by storm. Rustom went on to become one of Akshay’s memorable box-office hits as it earned him his first National award for Best Actor. Rustom’s box-office collection was a good Rs. 127.49 Crores.

  5. Jolly LLB 2 collected Rs. 117 Cr at the box-office

    Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 features in the biggest hits of 2017 movies list. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, Akshay was seen playing a lawyer in this super hit movie where he reforms himself to fight against fake police encounters in the court. This comedy drama which figures in the biggest hits of Akshay Kumar earned a neat Rs. 117 Crores and was wrapped in a record time of four months.

  6. Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty collected Rs. 112.45 Cr at the Box-office

    Akshay Kumar’s hit movies list is incomplete without Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty which did a business of Rs. 112.45 Crores. A remake of actor Vijay’s superhit Tamil film Thuppakki, Holiday also got applauded for its content and Akshay’s performance where he played an army officer out to crack the code of sleeper cells in the country.

The second instalment of the Housefull series took a while to make it to the elite club of Akshay Kumar’s biggest blockbusters list.
