The sudden and untimely death of many celebrities had all nation in shook, while many died due to prolonged illness and we lost many because of old age. Veteran actor Kader Khan passed away on the New Years (according to Indian time) and it definitely felt like the end of an era. Kader Khan - 1 January 2019
Veteran actor Kader Khan appeared in over 300 films and was an actor of finesse. He breathed his last on 31 December 2018 (Canadian time) in Canada due to old age ailments. Kader Khan started his career as an actor in 1973 Bollywood film Daag where he played the role of a lawyer. For more than 20 years he worked as a dialogue and screenwriter for many Bollywood films. Whole Bollywood fraternity mourned his loss.
Raj Kumar Barjatya - 21 February 2019
Rajkumar Barjatya who was popularly known as Raj babu was an Indian film producer who founded the famous production house Rajshri Productions. Rajkumar passed away on February 21, 2019, because of natural causes. Under his production banner, Bollywood has been blessed with family movies like Hum Saath Saath Hain, Vivaah Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and set Salman Khan's iconic image of 'Prem'.

Famous Sufi singer Ustad Pyare Lal Wadali passed away after suffering from a heart attack. He was the younger brother of Ustad Puran Chand Wadali and the Wadali Brothers were known for their soulful Sufi music. Together the duo has given us some iconic songs like 'Aye Rangrez' from Tanu Weds Manu, and 'Ik Tu Hi Tu Hi' from Mausam. The singer was only 75 when he breathed his last in Amritsar.
Shrivallabh Vyas - 7 January 2018
Actor Srivallabh Vyas died on 7 January 2018 due to prolonged illness. The actor appeared in films like Lagaan, Shool, Chandni Bar, etc. But he is famously known for his memorable character of Ishwar Kaka in the blockbuster film Lagaan. He was struggling with physical ailments after having a paralytic attack back in 2008.
