Films are not only the source of entertainment but an escape of the viewers and see something new and engaging on the screen. Bollywood has a year run in 2018. Most of the films which earned big in 2018 were the small budget movies and the star-studded films failed big time at the ticket window. This proves that cinema is changing for good.

The competition gets really tough when so many good films come out from the other film industries. And for Bollywood to stand tall among them, it must present something even more entertaining and engaging. And for directors, their stories must be worth selling to a bigger market and bigger audience. And in 2018 Bollywood produced some outstanding movies and gave us the cinema we as an audience deserve.

In 2018, Bollywood churned some best biopics like Manto, Sanju, Soorma, some best action-packed films like Baaghi 2, and some feel-good movies like Karwaan and some best masala entertainment films like Simmba. But among all them, quality content films like Stree, Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho stood the tallest. While the films of the Khans – Salman’s Race 3, Aamir’s Thugs of Hindostan and Shahrukh’s Zero failed miserably in impressing the audience.

It is a story of a piano player who pretends to be blind. His world is turned upside down when he witnesses a murder.
