Nani who is on a roll career-wise has stepped into the production once again with Awe, after the failure of his maiden production venture 'D for Dopidi'. But this time he chose an ensemble cast in the form of Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, Srinivas Avasaral and others. Awe is said to be a unique attempt in Telugu cinema and it is directed by the short film director Prashanth Varma who is making his directorial debut. Awe also has Nani and Ravi Teja in special roles as narrators. The movie has generated a lot of curiosity among the movie lovers with superb posters and trailers.

Nani and Baahubali movie's costume designer Prashanti Tipirneni have bankrolled this movie and have pinned high hopes on it. After a long wait, he has made his way to direct a feature film and he couldn't have asked for a better debut. He has got the opportunity with all the young talents like Nani, Regina Cassandra, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Srinivas Avasarala, Priyadarshi, and others in his very first movie itself.  He has done his part perfectly which resulted in a path-breaking movie which has become the talk of the town.
