Mission Mangal

Mission Mangal is India's first space film which will tell the story of the women behind the success of India's Mars Mission. Akshay Kumar has revealed the star-cast photo of the film. The movie has a huge star cast with 5 leading ladies: Tapsee Pannu, Vidya Balan, Nithya Menen, Sonakshi Sinha, and Kirti Kulhari with Akshay Kumar and Sharman Joshi as the two leading actors. Jagan Shakti is helming this project.

Good News (19th July 2019)

Akshay Kumar is known for his comic timing in movies such as Hera Pheri. Well, the actor is all set to tickle our funny bones with the upcoming comedy-drama movie Good News through which he will be pairing up with Kareena Kapoor Khan after three years. Also starring Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani, this flick is up for 19th July 2019 release.

Housefull 4 (Diwali 2019)

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the fourth installment in the Housefull franchise is one of the most awaited films of Akshay Kumar and also stars Riteish Deshmukh while the rest of the cast has not been announced yet. The film will be based on the concept of reincarnation and with a budget of 75 Crore just for the VFX, the makers have decided to release the film in 3D. The previous installment, Housefull 3 was one of the few films that entered the 50 Crore club in the first half of 2016.

Kesari (Holi 2019)

Another Akshay Kumar new movie that was announced in 2016 finally went on floors in the first week of January 2018. Titled Kesari, the film is a Karan Johar production which is an epic based on the Battle of Saragarhi that tells the tale of one of the bravest battles fought in India. Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari is set for a release during Holi 2019.

Another Akshay Kumar upcoming movie is Crack. Though the release date for this Akshay Kumar starrer was announced as an Independence Day release in 2017 the shoot never commenced as the actor got busy with other films. Director Neeraj Pandey once again collaborates with Akshay in Crack for it is touted to be another patriotic thriller from the actor-director combo.
