11 TV Ads Where B’day Boy Aamir Khan Was At His Hilarious Best

Rated as one of the finest Bollywood actors of all time, Aamir Khan has ruled the roost for nearly three decades now. Born to producer father Tahir Husain on 14th March, 1965, he has been a role model to many aspiring actors since his ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ days. With a knack to understand the nuances of acting and film making he is no wonder addressed as Mr. Perfectionist. He has not only done a variety of characters on screen but also done a lot of endorsements and TV shows. As we celebrate his 54th birthday, we look at some of his most hilarious TV ads which garnered a lot of curiosity and applause from his fans and audiences.

    Aamir Khan never fails to impress us, whether in movies or in tv ads. Aamir who already endorses various brands, turned a grandfather to promote one of the quickest methods of digital payment platform, PhonePe. Like the fever of cricket is always high, Aamir in the add too is seen playing cricket and talking about the safe and secure method of payment with total protection. Check below.

  2. Star Value Pack

    Aamir Khan in this hilarious TVC visits a shop to recharge his cable TV connection. Much to his surprise the shopkeeper played by Pankaj Tripathi tells him that the cost is just Rs. 49 and he can get access to all the 8 channels of StarIndia along with National Geographic etc. Aamir starts reverse bargaining and the fun begins.

    In this video, Aamir Khan finds his house in a horrible condition because of his pets. But with the help of Vivo V9's bokeh effect, he escapes the wrath of his wife. Check it out.

  4. Snapdeal

    Aamir was the brand ambassador for the online deal store and he did a series of TV ads which appeared at different product deal promotions. Most of his ads had him reciting funny couplets in sync with the theme of the deal but this one was the best of the lot. Notice his tight shirt as he weighed over a hundred kilos in real life for his role in ‘Dangal’.

    A rather old ad which Aamir did when he was shooting for ‘Mangal Pandey: The Rising’ in 2005. The other gentleman in the commercial too complements him brilliantly as he shows that he has got an outfit matching all his style of watches.

    This one is for keeps if you are a die-hard Aamir Khan fan. Probably one of the most trending TV ads in the early 90’s which had a fresh and young looking Mahima Chaudhry along with the yet to be crowned Miss World, Aishwarya Rai.

    A series of Coke ads which saw the superstar in various character avatar’s that caught the public eye. The first one had him explaining Rajesh Vivek that coke had turned Rs. 5/-, the next one had Rimi Sen who had yet to make her debut on screen. His Jatt, Bengali Babu and Nepali tourist guide act were equally funny.

    The Tata Sky ad series took off from where Aamir had left his Coke acts. Though, there were quite a few that he did over a period of time but we have picked the best five for you where he featured as a unisex guy, salesman, milkman, old Sikh man and with Gul Panag.

    This Parle-G ad got back the combo of Aamir Khan with Darsheel Safari who had featured together in ‘Taare Zameen Par’. Captured during his ‘Ghajini’ days where he played a patient of short term memory loss with an almost tonsured look.

    Not that hilarious but Aamir manages to get the message across in this exclusive TV commercial of new Mahindra Stallio bike that ‘speed thrills but kills’. In this ad he is seen showcasing the simplicity of the two-wheeler which looks very fresh and interesting.

    And, finally one of his toughest series of ad acts where Aamir Khan don’s a lady’s skimpy outfit and plays Soniya in the ‘Zindagi Muskuraye’ series by Godrej. Also featuring in the ad clips are Arjun Mathur and Nauheed Cyrusi who compliment him beautifully. The ads showcased a list of Godrej brand products like Eon AC, hair dryer and safety locker.
